Check out the list below and find a cultural event that you are interested in to make the most of your experience in Hanoi.
1. Screening series “Re-think Urbanity”
This series features documentaries about urbanism, suburbia, and issues that cities and urban areas around the globe are facing.
On Sunday, each screening of the documentary/movie will be complemented by a Q&A session with urban experts, architects, urban planners on the themes that have been addressed in the movies.
Movies are shown in original language with English subtitles.
Time: 3.00P.M, September 23th-24th 2017
Venue: Heritage Space, 1st floor, Dolphin Plaza. 28 Tran Binh Street, Cau Giay District.
Ticket price: 30.000VND/ticket on Saturday and 50.000VND/ticket on Sunday. Discount 10.000VND/ticket for students and members of Heritage Space.
2. Comedy The Dark Room by John Robertson
The Dark Room is a live comedy that the whole audience does not just watch…it plays! It is the world’s only live-action videogame which players try to escape and have their own adventure.
The Dark Room debuted in Edinburgh Fringe, the world’s largest arts festival in 2012 and since then, the show has toured the UK, EU, Australia and South-East Asia. It also garnered 250.000 players on Twitch for one-off specical and 500.000 hits on Youtube.

3. Mid-Autumn Festival 2017 at Vietnam Museum of Ethology
Under the theme “The colors of Dong Thap’s culture”, the event is expected to draw the participation of many artists from the Southern province of Dong Thap. It will introduce traditional culture, as well as specific characteristics in cultural life of people in the province through chants, local textile weaving techniques, and culinary skills.
The essential activities of the mid-autumn: festival – lion dance, playing folk games, making traditional toys, moon-cakes and Vietnamese green rice flakes from the famous Vong village, will be the highlights of the event.

4. “Fly in the skies” – Mai Dai Luu’s exhibition
The naive-looking artworks of painter Mai Dai Luu will bring viewers back to their innocence, yet mischievenous childhood and closer to the world of Vietnamese children.
Time: 28.08 – 31.10.2017
Venue: V-Artroom, 3F IPH-Indochina Plaza Hanoi. 241 Xuan Thuy Street, Cau Giay District
