David Duplantier’s IT Internship
David was one of the 7 runners-up for the To Vietnam Now Contest and won a full internship program in Vietnam in 2016. His internship was with a leading global IT solutions provider based in Quang Trung Software City – the software hub of Ho Chi Minh City. He described his experience of doing internship in Vietnam as necessary, unique, and unforgettable.

Making the most out of his internship in Vietnam, David was able to travel to some of the many beautiful destinations in Vietnam and enjoy local specialties.

Enjoying the Mekong Delta’s yummy signature dish, banh xeo – made from rice flour mixed with water, coconut milk, turmeric powder for the golden color! Shrimp, pork, green bean, onion, bean sprouts and egg are added in the filling.
The South of Vietnam is home to extensive river network and vast rice paddy fields. David was overwhelmed by the view of Tra Su Cajuput Forest, a unique and impressive ecosystem located in Chau Doc – An Giang Province on the Mekong Delta.
