Morning Highlights

8:00–8:30 AM: Hotel pick-up in Hue City center

Dragon Boat Ride on the Perfume River: We will take a traditional dragon boat and sightsee the romantic views on the Perfume River. Our excellent guide will tell you about the name origin of this river, and we will admire the Truong Tien Bridge, an ancient dragon boat station of the Nguyen Dynasty, and ancient garden houses.

After 40 minutes of transfer by dragon boat, we will visit Thien Mu Pagoda. The oldest and most iconic pagoda in Hue. It is famous for unique royal architecture, rich history, fengshui setting, and mysterious stories, love curse.

Transfer by car to explore:

Hue Imperial Citadel: The former capital of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty, the Nguyen Emperors. We will explore the 3 sections of Hue Citadel, Royal City, and Forbidden City.

We will learn more about the Nguyen Dynasty by visiting the Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, The To Temple, Dien Tho and Truong Sanh Residences, Kien Trung Place, Thieu Phuong Royal Garden, Duyen Thi Duong Royal Theater.

Our knowledgeable tour guide will tell you interesting stories about the Royal lives of 13 Emperors, concubines, and eunuchs.

Then, we will explore Dong Ba Market: The busiest and most colorful market in Hue. You will have a chance to interact with the locals, learn more about the local life, culture, and traditions.
